Are there any books or online tutorials you can recommend? I'm pretty new to loom beading...not even sure which brand loom to buy. I returned the Clover because those little teeth were so close. I suppose I could have skipped some, but I wasn't too sure what to do. Advice?Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01062727603311948800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3154120257955860216.post-8914451150010793452017-06-02T07:22:58.708-07:002017-06-02T07:22:58.708-07:00Thank you! To prevent the warp threads coming loose in the clamps we weave a thread selvedge about the same depth as the clamp, and then deliberately pass through the warp threads of the selvedge several times to secure it. Apply some glue to the selvedge and let it dry, and then fix on the clamps. It works every time with no problems,Marilyn Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14411190927378482032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3154120257955860216.post-44275129525867783612017-02-22T06:01:06.237-08:002017-02-22T06:01:06.237-08:00Saving my own bracelet (and sanity) was great, and...Saving my own bracelet (and sanity) was great, and if it helps others, all the better!Lisa Yang Jewelryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16851061995303198057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3154120257955860216.post-83649480490802472272017-02-21T18:09:41.987-08:002017-02-21T18:09:41.987-08:00What a great, creative solution to a tough situati...What a great, creative solution to a tough situation - you probably just saved lots of people's bracelets (and sanity)!Bobbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07463056729753535683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3154120257955860216.post-30140176317595274232017-02-21T13:23:13.590-08:002017-02-21T13:23:13.590-08:00Now why didn't I think of that! I think this was recommended in the companion book to the Jewel Loom (not part of the kit with the loom, but purchased separately). My ends look somewhat ugly right now simply because this is a new skill for me, but nothing is falling apart (yet).Sneaky Burritohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01026146834644697316noreply@blogger.com
