The...Actually, my wraps aren't even in number. They alternate between 2 on one side and one on the other. I found that it really didn't affect the look at all. The other option if you really insist that they be even - I totally understand if you do :), is that after you reach the end you could do a half herringbone weave all the way back to where you started and you will have two wraps on each side. I tried that too - but it tends to erase the herringbone effect. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!Lisa Yang Jewelryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16851061995303198057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3154120257955860216.post-6655739305448821622013-04-30T08:40:32.786-07:002013-04-30T08:40:32.786-07:00Thank you Joanne. To patina or not to patina.......... good question. I used some similar techniques as your hoops, but was much less successful. Maybe you should try and then teach me, Lisa! I never did figure out a way to get an even number of wraps on each side of the bead while continuing on to the next bead on the main wire. I always have one more wrap on one side. :) This would be why I use other people's tuts and dont write my own.
