About Lisa Yang Jewelry

I hope you find my jewelry making information helpful.

I have been making jewelry as long as I can remember. I have also been admiring jewelry for that long.  I love the history and stories behind jewelry. Whether it is precious or a costume bauble, I like to hear about how people acquired a piece of jewelry and why it is special to them.

I genuinely enjoy sharing the projects I make, the tools I use, the products and information I find, and the tips and tricks I've learned along the way with you.

I appreciate your time reading my site and love it when you leave me comments and give me the opportunity to get to know you better.

In 2014, I became the "Expert" for the Beadwork site at About.com. The site is now The Spruce Crafts. You can find articles and projects written or updated by me in the beadwork section and the jewelry making area.

I am no longer working with The Spruce, but I'm proud of the projects I've published there.  I am open to other contract writing positions on the topics of beadwork or jewelry making.

If you enjoy the information I share, I hope you will follow me on FacebookInstagram, and Pinterest, I have recently started publishing short videos on YouTube too.

You can also email me directly at lisayang1 at gmail.com  (replace at with the symbol and remove the spaces).  I love hearing from other jewelry makers!

If you enjoy my jewelry and information, I just finished writing a book on beginner wire wrap jewelry. I hope you will purchase it and review it to provide feedback.

My finished jewelry is available for purchase at shoplisayangjewelry.com

Now for the other stuff that I have to tell you:

To compensate me for the time and expense involved in publishing my jewelry sites, I participate in several revenue generating programs.  My websites may earn income from advertising and affiliate programs with retailers whose products or services are featured here.  I may also earn income from e-books or printed books or tutorials that I may produce.

FTC Disclosure

The Federal Trade Commission requires that I disclose any relationship I have between a product manufacturer or service provider when I write about a product or service.

Here are my guidelines:
  • I occasionally receive free products in order to try them and/or publish articles or videos that include those products.  All of the opinions and reviews expressed on my sites are my own and are provided to help you improve your jewelry making skills. I will never tell you I like a product that I don't.
  • I am sometimes paid a commission if you purchase a product or service from a link on my website.  I do not write posts for the sole purpose of advertising or selling these products.
Please understand, I would prefer to live in a site without any advertisements - but it's just not practical for me at this time.
