Decisions, decisions
Since I discovered I can make four of these wire heart frames at once, I've got a whole bunch of wire heart frames on hand.
And I'm having the time of my life thinking of ways to decorate all of them!
Here's the batch from last night.
First up, a lacy heart that reminds me of a doily or Valentine's Day candy box.
Black heart
And as hard as I tried, I couldn't keep myself from painting the lacy wire heart with Liver of Sulfur gel (LOS). It just felt too shiny and new.
Gray heart
And then, I just had to take it one step further and give it a little polish with a sunshine polishing cloth .
So, what do you think? Which one do you like best? Shiny, Black or Gray? No matter which, if you like the lacy scallop edge wire wrap, there is a free tutorial at the link.
Bead Heart
I want to drop this one in the LOS too, but I am restraining myself for now (which is very hard).
And one more beaded heart - black and red. I also used Toho 8/0 beads and the same wire frame for this one, but they are wired on the outside frame (using the same weave as the lacy heart). Also dipped in the LOS, but no polishing here.
I love you more
I have a couple of more ideas on how to decorate these frames too, so check back later.
Of course, you could save yourself the trouble and just get notified of my new posts by email, twitter on facebook, yada, yada, yada.
